Is this a fit?
For Florida residents with exactly one Schedule C, straightforward W-2/1099/cash income, categorized books, and supporting records. The fit check confirms the full eligibility rules before payment.
Other states and complex situations belong on the waitlist; joining does not reserve service.

THE SEVEN-QUESTION FIT CHECK
All seven answers must fit the Simple scope. The fit check happens before any payment. If you're unsure about an answer, request an eligibility review before paying.
Are you a Florida resident for 2026? YES: Continue. NO: Join the waitlist for a future window.
Do you have exactly one Schedule C business? YES: Continue. TWO OR MORE: This product is not available for your return.
Is your income only W-2 plus 1099-NEC, 1099-MISC, 1099-K, and/or cash? YES: Continue. CRYPTO OR RENTAL INCOME: Join the Complex waitlist. K-1 OR S-CORP INCOME: This product is not available for your return.
Are your books already categorized in software or a spreadsheet? YES: Continue. RAW EXPORTS ONLY: Categorize them and retake the fit check, with a maximum of two retakes. SHOEBOX OR CAMERA-ROLL RECORDS: This product is not available for your return.
If you plan to claim vehicle expenses, do you have records supporting your business use and the deduction method? Actual-expense claims also require records supporting the expenses and business-use allocation. YES, OR NOT CLAIMING: Continue. CLAIMING WITHOUT ADEQUATE RECORDS: Request an eligibility review before paying.
Did you pay any contractor $600 or more? (Our internal records policy; the 2026 IRS reporting threshold is $2,000.) If yes, do you have their name, taxpayer identification number, and address? NO CONTRACTORS AT THAT LEVEL, OR YES WITH ALL DETAILS: Continue. MISSING IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS: This is not a Simple return. Contractor 1099 filing is not included in the $399 price.
Do you have any unfiled prior returns, amended returns, IRS notices, other-state income, or nexus issues? NO TO ALL: Continue. YES TO ANY: This return is outside the pilot or belongs on a future waitlist.

Not eligible for Simple? About the Complex waitlist
WHEN SIMPLE IS NOT THE RIGHT FIT
Complex returns join the waitlist
A $699 Complex tier is planned, but it is not being sold during this pilot. Joining the waitlist does not reserve service or create an engagement. The Complex waitlist may fit a return with one rental schedule, limited crypto records that need basis work, one other-state return, uncategorized exports, or several record-heavy deductions on the same return. Still outside the Complex tier: entity returns, more than one Schedule C, amended returns, audit work, and full bookkeeping rebuilds.
Phase 1 is Florida only. Tell us your state for a future window.
Enrollment closes November 15, 2026. Five Florida clients; a fit-check pass alone does not reserve your spot. This enrollment is for a 2026 return prepared after year-end during the 2027 filing season.
Frequently asked questions: payments, records, and review
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Common questions have direct answers
Do I pay before the fit check? No. The fit check comes first. The $150 start-payment link is available only after you pass, provide your mailing address, and sign the engagement letter.
What if I am not a Florida resident? Join the waitlist and include your state. Phase 1 is limited to Florida residents.
Can I use this for two businesses? No. This pilot covers exactly one Schedule C business.
What if my books are only bank or payment-app exports? Categorize the income and expenses in software or a spreadsheet, then retake the fit check. You may retake it no more than two times.
Can you organize a box of receipts or my camera roll? Not in this offer. Those records require bookkeeping work outside the Simple pilot.
What do I need for a vehicle deduction? Records that support your business use and the deduction method you use. If you claim actual expenses, you also need records supporting those expenses and the business-use allocation. If you are unsure whether your records are enough, request an eligibility review before paying.
Does the $399 include contractor 1099 forms? No. Contractor 1099 preparation and filing are not included.
When is the final $249 due? After the draft is ready for your review and before e-file.
Can you promise a refund or a specific tax result? No. We prepare the return from the information and records you provide, apply the agreed scope, and review the draft with you. No refund amount, tax savings, acceptance of a position, or other result is promised.
